A reliable and user-friendly odometer, GPS Odometer is designed with a singular purpose: measuring distance traveled. It offers seamless background running capabilities, making it perfect for various outdoor activities such as walking, running, driving, boating, or hiking. Please note that the GPS function may not work well indoors, so it is recommended to utilize the app outdoors for optimal results.

The app provides the following essential information:
<ul>
 <li>Distance</li>
 <li>Time elapsed</li>
 <li>Speed (either average or current)</li>
 <li>Displacement (straight line distance from starting point) - This feature can be hidden if desired.</li>
</ul>

The app includes multiple distance units to choose from:
<ul>
 <li>Kilometers</li>
 <li>Miles</li>
 <li>Nautical miles</li>
 <li>Meters</li>
 <li>Feet</li>
</ul>

Speed can be displayed in the following units:
<ul>
 <li>Kilometers per hour</li>
 <li>Miles per hour</li>
 <li>Nautical miles per hour</li>
 <li>Meters per second</li>
 <li>Feet per second</li>
</ul>

Additional features of GPS Odometer include:
<ul>
 <li>Adjustable display with a large font for easy readability.</li>
 <li>Precision within 1 percent compared to most car odometers under normal driving conditions.</li>
 <li>A lock function to prevent accidental trip reset. The app will automatically relock after a few seconds or can be manually locked.</li>
 <li>An approximation feature that calculates distance traveled in GPS dead spots, such as tunnels, by adding the straight-line distance to your trip.</li>
</ul>

It is important to note the following:
<ul>
 <li>GPS Odometer can run in the background if left active. Remember to pause the trip when finished to preserve battery life. The timer stops when the trip is paused.</li>
 <li>To adjust the display, tap the unlock button and observe the temporary appearance of three green boxes. Each box corresponds to a different aspect of the display that can be customized.</li>
 <li>The app allows you to change the language to English in the application settings.</li>
</ul>
